MARY MOUSE 2 AT HASLAR MARINA, GOSPORT
The MARY MOUSE 2 was originally built as a lightship by Philip & Son at Dartmouth and named Royal Sovereign Station, she was handed over in 1946, the ship was decommissioned in 1993 and sold to Dean & Reddyhoff Ltd, a company from Southampton, she was converted as a marina club house and renamed MARY MOUSE 2 after the company´s directors wives, no connection with the fictional character imagined by children´s author Enid Blyton, the ship is permanently moored at Haslar Marina in Gosport
