It was back in 1975 the very first time I went to sea, the ship was EAGLE from Southern Ferries part of the P & O group, the vessel was introduced in 1971 for the Southampton/Lisbon/Algeciras/Tangier service so all those years ago I went with friends and family on the Lisbon/Tangier mini cruise. The EAGLE is one of my favourite ships of all time, she still sails today as the ROYAL IRIS and I miss her very much. Photo here included from Luis Miguel Correia.
