BACK AT ESCALE ATLANTIQUE
I was back at this fabulous exhibition in April, my last visit was back in 2003, this year the main focus is on FRANCE and NORMANDIE, in a way it was the same eight years ago without the publicity, altought you always get excited to see this exhibition you will get disappointed by the lack of information that there is on other foreign international liners like the British, American, Dutch and Italians, there is no mention about other historic liners like the CUNARD QUEENS, the UNITED STATES, the HOLLAND AMERICA LINE and the ITALIAN LINE ships, just to mention a few, the QUEEN MARY2 was built there and at the time was the biggest passenger ship ever built, still no information at all, one can only regret this attitude and be disappointed because this could be without a doubt one of the best exhibitions in the world about the subject, still a place definately not to be missed but the focus is on French transatlantic liners
