TRANSFENNICA-HIGHWAY OF THE SEA

Seen here last week in Bilbao is the M.S. "KRAFTCA built in 2006, the ship as a GRT of 24.800 and travels at 22 knots, the vessel is registered in Holland, photos taken on the 18th January, also included a map of all the routes provided by TRANSFENNICA, really enjoyed photographing this ship, original, sleek and built for speed

    Transfennica (or TraFe) was originally founded in 1977 by Finnish forest industry interests to ensure the transport of important cargoes. The company mostly operated with chartered tonnage until 2002 when it was sold to Spliethoff, and today Spliethoff own many of the ships used in TraFe services - such as the stylish Kraftca and her sisters.
