Back on board "PRIDE OF BURGUNDY"
Last 28.3.2013 I was travelling on the "PRIDE OF BURGUNDY" on my seventh trip, she was built in 1992 and is today one of the oldest ferries on the P & O FERRIES fleet operating on the Dover/Calais route, due to the Easter Holidays she was almost full on this crossing, with the introduction of the new SPIRIT-CLASS ships, "PRIDE OF BURGUNDY" looks more than ever a freight only Ferry with very limited facilities for passengers. Photos, top three, 28.3.2013 and the other dated, 13.9.2012 showing the ship departing Calais

"PRIDE OF BURGUNDY" at sea
P & O FERRIES "PRIDE OF BURGUNDY" is seen here at sea on her way to Dover, photos taken 16.6.2012 from the "DEAL SEAWAYS" operated at the moment by DFDS but soon on her way back to her owners, BRITTANY FERRIES to re-start the Poole/Cherbourg route. The Dover/Calais crossing despite being a 90 minutes trip is a fantastic voyage for ships enthusiasts to photograph particulary cruise ferries, always plenty of options available, the newly formed MY FERRY LINK is the latest addition to this route and a subject for future posts on this blog. "PRIDE OF BURGUNDY" was built in 1993 and has a GRT of 28.138.
