M V "OSCAR WILDE" at sea
M.V. "OSCAR WILDE" seen at sea from BF "BRETAGNE", the ship is less than two hours away from Cherbourg. "OSCAR WILDE" was built in 1987 as the KRONPRINS HARALD at WARTSILA TURKU in Finland, she is operated today by IRISH FERRIES on the Rosslare-Cherbourg and Rosslare-Roscoff routes, she is 31.914 GRT. Cruise Ferry "OSCAR WILDE"
The MS "OSCAR WILDE" was built in Finland in 1987 as the KRONPRINS HARALD, she has sailed for JAHRE LINE and COLOR LINE, in 2007 she was acquired by IRISH FERRIES and renamed "OSCAR WILDE, she is operated on the Rosslare/Cherbourg and Rosslare/Roscoff routes, the ship is approximately 32.000 GRT and has a top speed of 25.5 knots, the capacity is for 1450 passengers and 580 cars.
