Seen here in Barcelona is the "TENACIA" arriving from Palma de Mallorca. The ship was built in Italy by Nuovi Cantieri Apuania in 2008 for GRANDI NAVI VELOCI, she is 25058 GRT has a top speed of 25 knots and today is operated by ACCIONA/TRASMEDITERRANEA. Photos 4.7.2012

GRIMALDI LINES sisters CRUISE ROMA and CRUISE BARCELONA








Built by FINCANTIERI in 2008 the new sister ships "CRUISE ROMA" and "CRUISE BARCELONA" are the fast cruise ferries operated by GRIMALDI LINES on the Barcelona to Civitavecchia via Porto Torres route. Both ships have 54.320 GRT, capacity for 2300 passengers and 215 cars. the sisters have a top speed of 28 knots, they normally cruise at an average speed of 24, they have 411 cabins with private shower, 50 junior suites and 18 owner suites, other services include "a la carte restaurant", casino, disco, health centre with sauna, jacuzzi and a swimming-pool with a bar.
