A cruise on the Mersey to see the MARCO POLO
Yesterday was a very nautical day in Liverpool, it was all about TITANIC once more, several events took place at the city, amongst other venues, the Merseyside Museum opened one hour earlier than usual to accommodate a few hundred of passengers that were cruising on board cruise ship MARCO POLO which was berthed at the Cruise Terminal for an exclusive tour of the Museum and to attend a lecture about the exhibition now taking place "TITANIC THE UNTOLD STORY". Being a sunday and with the weather reasonably warm for April, at least was very sunny, which is always a big bonus, thousands of people turned out at the Waterfront. I decided to step back in time by once again boarding the "ROYAL IRIS OF THE MERSEY" an Historic Ferry owned by MERSEY FERRIES to photograph the MARCO POLO and the Liverpool Pier Head. Above a few photos of an amazing day, for other posts and photos of the CMV cruise ship MARCO POLO, please visit my CRUISE SHIPS AND LINERS Blog http://vmf-cruiseshipsandliners.blogspot.com
