"CRUISE ROMA" at Porto Torres in Sardinia
"CRUISE ROMA" travelled for just over 12 hours to get to Porto Torres, we docked at about 12.30 and were there for just over one hour, Porto Torres is a city located north of Sardinia on the Province of Sassari, together with Olbia are the main ports on the island, Cagliari being the Capital city with about 150.000 inhabitants. Sardinia is a major tourist destination in the Mediterranean, a lot of Spanish people disembarked but also there were a lot of Italians boarding the ship to take them to the mainland, passengers in transit did not leave the ship, I have never been to Sardinia, but it is on my wish list now, the place looked so inviting, for the "CRUISE ROMA" it was business as usual so before 14.00 hours we were again at sea, it would take us about seven hours to get to Civitavecchia, E.T.A. would be 20.45 so one hour and a half late.
