RMS "BERENGARIA"
The RMS "BERENGARIA" was an ocean liner originally built as the SS "IMPERATOR" for the German operator HAPAG, she was at the time of her launch, in May 1912 the biggest passenger ship in the world at GT 52.117, during the first World War she remained in Hamburg, after WWI ended the ship was handed over to Great Britain and sailed for CUNARD LINE as the RMS BERENGARIA, she had a top speed of 24 knots, the ship is seen here at the Southampton Floating Dock, postcard of my private collection, another page in maritime history
