When I am on business in Barcelona any spare time I head for the port, and the ships there waiting for me are always plentiful, on every visit there is a cross channel voyage or a crossing from Plymouth or Portsmouth to Santander, nowadays with BRITTANY FERRIES as unfortunatly P and O retired from the Portsmouth to Bilbao route last September.
Ships included in this post, THE AZUR former PO SOUTHERN FERRIES EAGLE, AIDA, ARKONA, COSTA ALLEGRA, COSTA ROMANTICA, MARCO POLO, SUNDREAM, DON JUAN and TOPAZ, of course the former EMPRESS OF BRITAIN of 1956, this elegant vessel was scrapped at Alang in 2008, all photos from 2001
